 Newsletter is landing in Junk folder by default

Hello,

my newsletter land in the Junk folder of most recipients by default.

The mail contents is clean and my ISP's SMTP IP address is not blacklisted: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=212.227.126.186

However, in the newsletter mail header, I also found my DSL dial-in IP address that is provided dynamically by my DSL provider and changes with every DSL login.

And *this* IP is blacklisted: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=91.9.214.201

Does this affect the junk filter? Is there any way to get around it?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

What sending method are you using (View > Options, Sending)?

When you log into your ISP again are you provided a new IP address that is not blacklisted?

Chances are high that other IP addresses are also blacklisted as most of my emails land in the junk bin by default. My ISP is the German Telekom, a major DSL provider. It seems that their customers abused their accounts for spam activities.

Firstly, your MaxiVista software is very cool and I highly recommend anyone subsisting on a single monitor with a spare machine hanging around to try it out:

When using SMTP your personal IP address is generally not as big an issue as the IP address of your SMTP server, but presumably you are being penalized by it.

I would try doing a test from a clean IP address to see if that resolves it.

Thank you for the compliments about MaxiVista.

I have no chance to try a "clean" IP address as I am tied to the dynamic IP provided by my DSL provider. Also the SMTP server is fixed by my hosting company 1&1. I asked them for clarification but have not received any reply yet.

If I would only know which decision rules make Outlook put emails into the Junk bin.
