I attempted to installed TL in 365 and nothing shows up - it would hung outlook 365 as well

I installed it on another computer outlook 2016 and it 'disabled" my existing addins like docusign fedex tracking box. etc. you get the idea. I removed TL and everything was restored.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Office 365 is the version we use for testing. There is only one known issue with that version:
