I recently got a dedicated server and I'm trying to set up the smtp configuration. My tech folks at my host tell me I am using all the right settings, but here is the error message I get using port 25:

Sending of message to cindy (lexxuscook@yahoo.com) failed: SMTP authentification unsuccessful (535)

When I try port 26, I get:

Sending of message to cindy (lexxuscook@yahoo.com) failed: Connection attempt was forcefully rejected (10061)

I think I would really like this software and want to buy it, but not unless I can get it to work!

Thanks!
Cindy

Hi Cindy

The port is most likely to be 25 but your login details are being rejected. In Smtp settings ensure you have set the correct login method and check that the user name and password are specified correctly.

If you are still having problem then email me your server sending settings for more detail.
