I have Pix Play 3.35 and I have been having trouble when uploading video clips from Picasa 3 I have installed the motion JPEG codec 3.2.4 that fixed one problem but I cannot seem to fix second so help required please the issue is I have a video that I shot with the camera sideways I can adjust it in Picasa to be right way up but when I transfer to Pix Play it reverts to sideways any ideas !

Hi

DVD PixPlay does not support video rotation, so you would need to rotated them in a different program. It sounds like Picasa is only rotating them for display.

Also, as videos are always displayed on landscape-oriented devices you should never rotate your video camera to a portrait orientation.

Thanks for that Nigel I have found that I can do it with windows movie maker must try and remember to keep camera right way up in future. I contacted you via the help section about downloading the trial version 7 I did like it but now I have sorted out the video issue I wanted to go back to where I was and continue the the project I had started in older version 3..35 as the trial only allows 100 pics and I have several 100’s to do you gaave me a link to do this but will I lose my projects if I uninstall 7 as you suggested and reinstall 3.35.

Hi

You should not lose any projects when re-installing, but you will need to uninstall v7 because you want to downgrade.

To be safe you should make a copy of your DVD PixPlay projects folder under "My Documents" before uninstalling.
