1. Some way we could make and save out own templates
This would be very helpful. It would also be nice if the community could share templates with other users.

2. A scroller for text
Currently i am using a screen capture tool of a flash scroller and saving it as an avi. That works but its a long way around.

This is still the best DVD authoring tool i have found.

Hi

1. There is not an official method for creating ones own templates, but we do have it on the to-do list.

You can use the developer's template functionality by:

a. Download DVD PixPlay v6.14 from:

http://www.xequte.com/pixplay/download.html

b. Click Insert Title Page

c. Design your page

d. Hold down the CTRL key and click the bottom of "Add Text" window (where the OK/Cancel buttons are).

e. Click the "Develop" button and then "Save (All)"

Note that if you are creating templates with image backgrounds you should create an image of the size 1025 x 576 and design the template with the "Design for Widescreen DVD" option selected.

When saving you need to specify how the background image should be cropped for 4:3 display.

2. Yes, it is on the to-do list.
