I purchased Diji this afternoon and have created an album. It was very easy to do, and I've been looking for software like this for a long time. When I uploaded the album to my web server, which is Unix, everything seemed to be bundled in the same files and I uploaded to a file folder that holds my website contents and then to a subfolder. Both are under public_html. I pasted the index.html code on the web page, but nothing happened except it put a link in the top right that said "Go to next page." When I look in the directory, I see that each page has an html. I put one of the page htmls with the index.html on the web page thinking that maybe all of the pages had to be linked together. That didn't work. I am not a technical person and I don't know what to do next. The images, indices, text, html all seem to be in the directory. I don't know if there's anything else to add since my server is Unix. My pages were made up of jpegs and text typed into text boxes. The pages are displaying correctly in the browser when I preview. Can you help me with this? Remember, I need some step by step directions since I'm not a techie. Thanks very much.

Hi Joyce
When you build an HTML album, Diji Album will put all of the necessary files in a single folder. You just need to then copy the entire folder to your web site and link to the Index.html file.
Can you give me the link where you uploaded your files?

Thanks for your reply. Last night I turned the problem over to my host's support team and now my two websites have disappeared except for the home page which does not show the navigation panel. Needless to say, they are continuing to work on this. The site is http://irishbranch.com/testsupport. It is my working revision of my active website.
What they did first was to move the files from public_html/testsupport/marriages up one level to testsupport which is the root file of the revision website. They thought they had corrected the problem at that point.
This morning I received a message that said they had created a subfolder under testsupport and moved these files there: IMG_0.jpg IMG_1.jpg IMG_2.jpg IMG_3.jpg IMG_4.jpg IMG_5.jpg IMG_6.jpg Page0_IMG_BCK.jpg
Didn't work.
Going back to the beginning...I had ended up with two folders for the album. There were dll, etc. files in one with all the images, and just images in the other, the same images. Since my host has Unix servers I made sure all file names were in lowercase and uploaded to the subfolder "marriages" under testsupport. The html index file's name was album index. There was no file that just said index.html.
I've had problems with uploading software from other vendors to this host. Sometimes there are things that can be done with the software to tweak it, and sometimes the problem is at the server end.
That's the latest, and until the website is back to normal, you won't be able to view it.
When the page was visible, the page had html tables with active text links to the pages...which when clicked went to a 404 error message.
I guess my question to you is: I had revised what I had done to the scrapbook. Could I have ended up with 2 file folders as I described above because I didn't properly revise the file so that the old file was deleted? According to what you've said, I'm thinking that I need to re-read those instructions on making changes after I've built the file.
When my website is back up, I'll go in and delete everything if it still isn't working. Then I will rebuild the file and upload it making sure I'm following all directions. If this doesn't work, I'll get back to you.
Sorry for the long answer. I appreciate your response. Thanks. Joyce

The website at http://irishbranch.com/testsupport is back up. To get to the scrapbook pages, go to the navigation bar/Research/Documentation. When you are on the Documentation/Sources page, go to King Marriages. This page is better than it was, but is still incorrect. Also, the images, when clicked, are too large. I need to rebuild the page and make corrections, or can I do that inside the html page code?
Go back to the Documentatation/Sources page and click on King Family Bible. This page is fine, except it doesn't have the navigation bar.
I love the look of the scrapbook, and look forward to becoming more proficient and creative with the software.
Thank you. Joyce
I will appreciate your reviewing these two pages and letting me know what is missing from the html.

I'm having major problems and for the last 2 days the host's support people have been working on it. They said it was the code and they had it fixed, but they didn't. I'm getting errors in the directory to change the language of the files...that they can't be read. When I change the language, I can read the file in editor. The Family Bible scrapbook appears mystically on the Family Marriages page. I can't find any reason for that, nor have they. I've deleted the Family Bible scrapbook. I've deleted the Family Marriage scrapbook and have created a totally new one and uploaded it, but the server isn't recognizing it. I think there's a server problem and will give them tonight to fix it. I'll update you. Thanks for asking for an update. Regards, Joyce

The problem appears to be on their end. The website is corrupted and I had them take it down and remove everything. I am starting over on the website using my PC website software and hopefully the server and website problems will be resolved by this action. After uploading the new website files, I will be able to see if those problems affected the scrapbook as I believe they did. Thanks for following up.
