Hi,
How do you use 1 picture more than once in a slide show preparation.
This 1 picture has had much editing and I would just like to use it again fully edited.

Thanks,
Dennis

Save the picture that you have edited to your main folder under a slightly changed name. eg name2.jpg. Then put it into your slide show in the usual way.

Hi Bagsey,
I know what you you mean.
But, this picture is in the project in progress and I have added speech bubbles and word text inside bubbles etc.
There does not appear to be a file save as when you highlight this picture and go File:
Or right click on picture:

There is no save as ??

Can you help again please ??

Sorry I misunderstood where you were coming from on this. If you want to use the same picture in a different part of the slide show then you can copy and paste it. Use the copy on the top line of the screen also the paste next to it. Should you want to change the writing then this is also possible using the edit text also on the same line of menu items. I hope that I have understood youe question this time.

I have read my posting again and am still not sure what you are trying to do.
If you are trying to save all of the work that you have done in editing a frame for use in another area of the same slideshow then what I posted earlier is OK, but if you are trying to save all of your work for a future slideshow then it is possible but there is no save as. This it would appear is because the writing which you have added is on a separate layer. If you try to use the Menu item Open in External editor to try to find a save as you will notice that only the back ground image opens and no Text.
What I have done in the past and have just tried again to refresh my mind is as follows.Open your slideshow editing screen. Then go to File and open New Project. Create a blank slideshow. Return to your main slideshow and Copy the frame that you wish to save. Open your new project and Paste the frame into it. Then save project. Doing this enables you to build up a store of past edited frames.
Sorry for the confusion. Put it down to old age.

Hey,
You are on the money now and this is what I want to do as I am in the process of building this slide show. It is not complete.
But I have never seen a copy or paste tab in this stage.
I am in the stage Add Images, Title Frame, Demote Image, Promote Image etc.

Where do I find copy or paste ??

Can you also take a look at Shorten A Slideshow topic.
That is mine too.
Nigel has been trying to help, but I just have not got it in my head yet how to complete and have a file of pictures I can access after the burn.
See where I have said the bullett cannot go in 2 places at the same time.
Thus my confusion.

On the top of the main screen where you are compiling the slideshow there is a written row of menus. File Edit etc.. Below that row is Add Images, Title frames, Cut, Copy, Paste etc. Thats where you find the copy, paste you want. You will need to highlight the image you want, then away you go. I will have a look at your other thread later this evening we have guests just arrived .

Hi

The cut, copy and paste buttons are not shown by default, you need to turn them on under View > Options.

Alternatively you can use Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V.

Nigel,
Thanks you nailed it.
Cut and Paste were not turned on and I did not know that was an option.

Bagsey, sorry man to appear so silly.
But, see note above.
Those features are now activated and it's a piece of cake.
