Hello MLK-Supportteam,

I have a problem with configuring MLK for getting Mails by a grp@domain-Addresses.

I´m using an Exchange2007 for SMTP-Server and Outlook2003 as Mailclient.

The sending Methode is "Sending via a STMP-Server" and i entered my Exchange Server in.

At the Menue for Membersending(view/options/membersending)I set the checkbox "Allow Groupmembers to sent to the Mailingllist", I selected
a generated Outlookfolder in my Postin for Members Message Folder. The radio button "Msg. with the grpname in the to address" is selected to.

Sending rights are set to "Anyone with sending rights in Grp posted to"

Other sending Options:

- How should the grp be determined? from the Email system
- No confirmation or moderation

Now to my Problem and Question:

IF i send a Mail to grpname@mydomain i get a NDR (No delivery Report)

Is there anything to change on the Exchange and where does the grp@mydomain-address come from, by a alias in the mlk database?

Hi

This is a configuration in your mail server (MS Exchange) rather than anything in MLK.

In MS Exchange you will need to add user accounts for each of your group names, or some rule to handle the processing of messages with unknown user name portions.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about Exchange to advise you on the specific settings.
