I have used DVD PixPlay for documenting several of my recent excursions, and it works better each time. I even used motion in my last effort.
One thing I'd really like to be able to do, though, is to show a map with a red line (representing my route) creeping along it.
I could make a movie of the map and draw the line, but I'd really like to have one not showing a moving hand. So I'm stuck with multiple JPEGs, generated either with a a camera or with a drawing program.
Is there a way to combine these JPEGs into a movie format compatible with DVD PixPlay? |

Hi Ed
Why can't you add all the JPEGs to your DVD Pixplay project, set a 1 second display time and disable transition and motion effects for them?

| 1 second is way too slow. I want it to look like continuous motion. A fifth of a second would be better, but a fifteenth would be best. |

OK, you would need another tool for that. We'll support fractions of seconds for later update.

Then I'll wait. No more long bicycle rides until next summer anyway.
Just out of curiosity, do you convert seconds to frame count when you generate the video? If so, you could give us the ability to specify times in frames instead of seconds. I use NTSC exclusively, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. |

Yes, Ed, we do. But I think it would be too confusing for users to specify frames rather than seconds/fractions of seconds. Also the frame count can differ by the slideshow format, so this would change the slideshow length.
