I tried to capture some video from my Sony Digital 8 camera onto Pixplay, but when I click on capture, it freezes up and then says it encountered an error. I should've wrote the error message down, but I didn't. It said something about not being able to recognize my driver. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was able to capture the video from my camera onto Windows Movie Maker just fine. I thought I would be able to pull the video file in to PixPlay from Windows Movie Maker but when I click on add file and double click on the movie file that I created in Windows Movie Maker, it pulls it in, but it doesn't play anything. It's just a blank screen.

I'm not sure how I can get my video into PixPlay. Please help!

DVD PixPlay can take a video file as a input source, so this allows you to create your slideshow in a video production application, such as Movie Maker. This is the procedure:

1. Create your video in Movie Maker and save it as an AVI or MPEG file *

2. Run DVD PixPlay and on the menu select File|Export Single Video to CD

3. Browse for the video file that you created

4. Follow the displayed steps to output to disk

* If possible match the output format for the VCD. Otherwise just choose the biggest size possible and let DVD PixPlay handle the resizing. Here are the standard VCD resolutions:

NTSC Formats (North America):

VCD: 352 x 240
SVCD: 640 x 480
XVCD or XSVCD: 720 x 480
