Hi folks

Here's a logic question for you.

Chain of events:
- I've set "Unsubscribe blocking" not to allow member to re-subscribe.
- Member X unsubscribe
- I do an import that includes Member X's email address

Does MLK allow me to import Member X's email address thereby re-subscribing them?

Ideally I want the answer to be 'no they can't re-subscribe', as this means I don't need to worry about having to manually remove members from a source database who have un-subscribed since I last imported them into MLK. Clear as mud? :)

And what happens to email address marked as unvalid due to bounced messages? If I re-import the same email address will MLK be clever enough to know that they have already been marked as invalid.

I would like the answer to that to be 'yes' :)

If you have enabled unsubscriber blocking then the address is blocked no matter the method you use to insert them (importing, pasting, email subcribing, etc).

If you have enabled the setting, "Block Undeliverable addresses from being added to the database", under View>Options, Delivery Failure then the address will NOT be added to the database even when importing.
