I am moving MLKing to a Vista Box.

What is the location that the database and configuration folders should be in? When I hit CTRL+SHIFT+I, the path to the folders is c:users\ablackburn\appdata\local......etc, howeever, I don't see the appdata folder in ablackburn?

Thanks

They are whereever you installed them to be. There is an application folder and probably a separate DB folder. You are best off just reinstalling MLK and then manually moving your DB.

Right....that's what I have done. I have installed MLKing on the new Vista Box. How do I move the database and configuration files if the paths on the old and new machines are not the same?

Thanks

Honestly, I don't know how to move over the config files. When I reset up mine, it only took about 10 minutes to re set it up. The DB files can just be moved. I copied the folder and moved it. Then in MLK you can access the dir that the DB file is in.

Hi

The configuration files can be moved the same way as your db files.

Run MailList King on the old machine and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will display the two important folders for MailList King (configuration and database). Copy the folders and their contents to the same location on your new computer.
