I am using V5.30 and Outlook 2002 and have set it up so that members may send mails to be forwarded to members of a group. I have set up Outlook to move mails with a group identifier in the subject field to a folder where Maillistking picks it up and forwards it to the members of the group.

This works just fine, but if someone decides to reply to such a forwarded mail, my Outlook will identify the mail as one that should be moved to the maillistking folder as the goup identifier is still in the subject field.

Is there a way to automatically remove the group identifier from the subject field before the mail is forwarded to the members of the group so that the replies do not contain this identifier?? Or does anyone have some other idea how to avoid the problem?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael

Newer versions of MLK should automatically strip any RE: or FWD: that is on the message.
