Hi,

I noticed this has been happening since the new upgrade:

I have one instance where I have a text-only message as an autoresponder, and I was able to easily go in and edit it.

I have two other instances where I have an HTML message as an autoresponder, and when I try to even open it [OPTIONS/ACKNOWLEDGE/EDIT SUBSCRIBE MESSAGE], the software halts while rendering the HTML. I have waited up to 20 minutes without change.

This also happens in INCOMING/AUTOMATIC MESSAGE RESPONDING/EDIT RULE/EDIT MESSAGE

Is this a known problem, or is it something local on my machine?

Thanks!

MLK uses the Internet Explorer library for HTML editing, that way we can ensure we create HTML that looks the same in Outlook and Outlook Express. It doesn't matter whether IE appears to be running or not, it is still used.

I haven't had any specific reports about Google Accelerator, but still download the latest release.

Also, full HTML editing capabilities are now available even when editing welcome and acknoledgement messages.

Oh, didn't see that a new update had come along!

I use Firefox, and have run MLK with and without the browser up, but Google Accelerator is memory resident. When I shut it off, the messages started to display correctly in the MLK editor, although MLK still hung up when importing an HTML document into Delayed Autoresponder message editor (BTW, is there a way to have an HTML editor present there like other message edit options?).

Google Accelerator also interferes with some versions of phpBB2, and I've seen it affect browser HTML rendering in Firefox. It doesn't seem to do that in IE.

Hi

We've had some issues with MLK running under the latest update of Internet Explorer. They should be resolved now, so please check that you are using the latest version, v6.25.

Now I'm seeing this is happening in the Delayed Automatic Responder Message when clicking on Edit button after the ADD button.

MLK also hangs up if you click Edit Message without any messages highlighted.

Hi Nigel,

I installed 6.25 (waiting for new key), but it's still hanging when I try to bring in an HTML file for the autoresponder or delayed message. It actually pretty much stopped my machine, with the task manager reporting MLK using 80-100% of the processer for 15 minutes before I forced it closed. I rebooted, tried again but no joy.

Hi Boyd

Please try this:

1. In MLK select List>Send to List
2. Click the small down arrow beside the spell check button
3. UNCheck the active spell check option
4. Close the sending window
5. Try loading the HTML again in the auto-responder window

Does it still lock up?

Also, what version of IE are you using?

Yay! That worked... Thanks.

I'm using the latest IE browser, 7.
