I use MLK with Outlook.
Is there a way to automatically delete an MLK entry (name + email) if I send them a msg and it "bounces" with an "Undeliverable" message from Outlook? I don't care about 'lossing' them, just don't want them to be on the database the next time I send to that group.

THANKS!
Richard

Hi Richard

After MLK does its processing (e.g. by clicking "Check Now" on the toolbar) are the messages in that folder deleted?

If so, search your database for one of the addresses that should have been removed. Is anything recorded in their history of the bounce, and what is their Undeliverable count?

I've done everything by the instructions, the 'bounces' are all going into a specific folder in Outlook (by setting up 'rules' that sends them there by words in the subject line), but nothing is happening - the names are not being removed.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Richard

Sure, go into File > Options, Delivery Failure.

Configure the options to automatically remove addresses.

You also need to ensure that the bounce messages go into a folder that MLK processes (one of the ones under File > Options, Email Processing), so that it can access them.
