Posted - May 03 2011 : 16:12:22 I just tried Amaze. I couldn't believe I finally found exactly what I've wanted. Well, almost. I'm stupefied that there's no way to save a screensaver configuration. At least that's the way it looks to me. (Nothing happens when I click Help.) Is there really no way to set up multiple screen saver configurations so I can switch between one and another without having to rebuild the whole thing each time? Is that a feature of the registered version? Or maybe the feature is there and I'm just missing it? |

I'm afraid Amaze is designed as a Screen Saver for display of your own images and multimedia rather than a tool to create a distributable screen saver.

Posted - Jul 19 2011 : 04:21:08 Yes, well I am endeavoring to register my product! I am guessing that I have to download V8 and the registration details may then work. I have other screen savers and assumed that I would be able to build and save and use I my other computers! Am I right in assuming that Amaze has to be used on any computer to display my screen saver?

Posted - May 04 2011 : 08:31:54 Well, I'm going to go ahead and buy the product. With a little experimentation I found I can use RegEdit to export [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xequte\Amaze] and then re-import it later to get what I want. Clunky, but it seems to work. However, I would seriously consider adding a way to save. |

Posted - May 04 2011 : 01:44:36 Well, I have more than one set of pictures. I like to switch out from time to time. |

You can only have one slideshow configuration in Amaze. Why do you want more?
