I just tried Amaze. I couldn't believe I finally found exactly what I've wanted. Well, almost. I'm stupefied that there's no way to save a screensaver configuration. At least that's the way it looks to me. (Nothing happens when I click Help.) Is there really no way to set up multiple screen saver configurations so I can switch between one and another without having to rebuild the whole thing each time? Is that a feature of the registered version? Or maybe the feature is there and I'm just missing it?

Hi Mike

You can only have one slideshow configuration in Amaze. Why do you want more?

Well, I have more than one set of pictures. I like to switch out from time to time.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and buy the product. With a little experimentation I found I can use RegEdit to export [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xequte\Amaze] and then re-import it later to get what I want. Clunky, but it seems to work. However, I would seriously consider adding a way to save.

Hi

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look at that for a later update.

Yes, well I am endeavoring to register my product! I am guessing that I have to download V8 and the registration details may then work. I have other screen savers and assumed that I would be able to build and save and use I my other computers! Am I right in assuming that Amaze has to be used on any computer to display my screen saver?

Hi

I'm afraid Amaze is designed as a Screen Saver for display of your own images and multimedia rather than a tool to create a distributable screen saver.
