Posted - Aug 24 2010 : 13:13:54 MLK has been working perfectly for over a year. (Installed on Windows XP with Security Essentials. No one ever touches the MLK box everything is done using RAC. No changes to MLK or to the lists other than adding/removing members and sending messages have been done for over a year.
Here's what's going on. + Nightly backups are working perfectly. + Adds/removes to the lists using RAC commands appear to be working perfectly. + Message sending using RAC for some users are occasionally are not processed. While messages are being ignored for one user, for user 2 they are processed. User 1 has resent messages that have been successfully processed by MLK (RAC) but this time for that user they are ignored. (MLK receives the message and does do anything.) User 2 can send a different messages it gets processed. User 1 can send messages directly from MLK console screen without problem. If MLK is rebooted the message user 1 was trying to send can be re-submitted and it gets delivered. Everything will work fine for a while then another user might have issues.
There are only 5 accounts allowed to send. Out of the 5 accounts only 2 send on a regular bases. Can't perdict which account won't be able to send or when it happens. Only fix appears to re-boot the MLK box.
Any idea what's going on?

Posted - Aug 25 2010 : 08:46:44 Nigel, Soory this looks like it's a problem caused by a "hung" router.
We rebooted the router and it appears all is working perfectly once again.

That seems rather unusual. I'll send you some debug logging info so we can see what is going on.
