Posted - Aug 19 2009 : 10:42:07 I have a list of people that I'd like to add manually. But when I test with one name, and check "Send acknowledgment messages" and "Require contacts to confirm via email," that person doesn't get any e-mail at all. I've tried a couple of times.

I tried it again and it worked, so I'll keep your instructions and send you the log file if I have the problem again. Thanks,
Ellen

I'm using 8.55R. No, the acknowledgment task isn't there. All I see there are my delayed message that are due to go out. My sending methods are both SMTP (via your ISP's mail server)

Posted - Aug 20 2009 : 00:36:06 Hi Ellen
What version are you using?
Does the acknowledgement task appear under the "Automated Emails" mode of the main window?
What are the two sending methods specified under View > Options, Sending?
