Posted - Feb 09 2009 : 14:01:41 Recently, (about 2 weeks ago) when using MLK to send mail --the program will stop sending after about 52 minutes and display a "connection to server failed" error message. I use MLK in conjunction with Hide-My-IP. Hide-My_IP support says it is not in their software---and it is possible it is not MLK either--however, any insight or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

If you have discounted your ISP, then that does point to hide-your-ip, but please send me your sending logs to see if i can see anything in them:
1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I. 2. Check the box to display your database folder and click "OK" 3. Browse to the subfolder named "SendLogs" 4. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me

Posted - Feb 10 2009 : 07:51:29 thanks for the quick response---my isp is not the issue as when i deactivate the hide-my-ip software the email goes out uninterrupted--i suspect it is the hide-my-ip software, however, they claim that it is not--just trying different forums for any ideas or suggestions

Posted - Feb 09 2009 : 18:45:19 Hi Phil
It sounds like your ISP may be disconnecting you for overusage. Have you contacted them to see if they impose any sort of sending limits?
