Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 21:39:12 Hi,
The last 2 weeks I am having a problem with one mailout. I send this message via MLK once a week - the text body never changes, the only difference is that each week I attached a different pdf file. The whole list is bouncing with "Remote host said: 554 message failed". I have tried adjusting MLK to send one message at a time but that didn't help.
I have been able to send this mailout with my email application for the last 2 weeks using same smtp settings as MLK with no problem. MLK can also send other mailouts via same ISP with no problems.
I guess my ISP has changed something but it's odd that I can send this with my email app and that other MLK mailouts go OK.
Any ideas?
Yvonne

Posted - Feb 04 2009 : 00:47:39 Hi,
The pdf is only about 150k - no larger than when MLK could send this message successfully. Will forward the logs in a moment.
Thanks,
Yvonne

Posted - Feb 04 2009 : 00:37:45 Hi Yvonne
How large was the PDF file? If it was very large that might cause problems with your ISP (though PDF's a rarely a problem).
Please email me the log file for the sending task:
1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I. 2. Check the box to display your database folder and click "OK" 3. Browse to the subfolder named "SendLogs" 4. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me
