Basically an 0000001 error means a complete failure to connect to your email software via MAPI. Reinstalling MLK won't make any difference because there are no known issues in our MAPI interface.
I can only suggest you investigate what changed on your system at the time that it worked. And if it is occuring on two systems what do the systems have in common. For instance did you install or update an antivirus program? Or some email program that may have messed up your MAPI setup?
Posted - Feb 09 2009 : 02:23:19 This is a error returned by Windows when it is unable to connect to your MAPI software. Either a MAPI compliant email program (such as Outlook Express or Outlook) is not installed, or your configuration has been messed up in some way.
The first thing to try is to go into the Internet Icon in your Control Panel. Select the Programs tab and tell me what email program is specified there.
