I have created my slideshow but every time I try to preview it I get a box opening stateing that DVD PixPlay has stoped working and will close the details are below previous slideshows work ok

OK, so we have confirmed that the fault is with the drivers your system uses when playing back mp3 files during a preview (NOTE: The codec is only used when previewing, you can burn your slideshow with background music without it).

The easiest solution is to install a codec pack such as K-Lite Mega:

I hadn't added any music but the default soundtrack was selected so got rid of it as you suggested and brill it works fine does this mean I cannot add any music to slideshow I don’t mind but would be nice

Can you confirm that if you remove all your background music (Edit > Slideshow, Music) that the crash goes away?

Sorry Nigel it does not work on older slidwshows it's ok when I preview pictures one at a time I have downloaded your video converter plug in and it is converting video ok not sure I want to risk burning DVD without a preview hope you can help

Results for MP3 Format Check:

MCI 32-bit Driver: This format has no MCI 32-bit Driver

it's not happening on older slideshows I made with v3.35 only this one

It looks like your audio drivers are crashing.

Please download the MCI Tester, run it and let us know what results you get for MP3:
