Using PixPlay-Professional I created a slide show from PowerPoint. I inserted music using PixPlay. I then burned the disc. I chose the DVD/CD option, and widescreen TV option. The disc plays perfectly in my computer, but will not play on the TV in DVD player. After attempting to load, I receive a message: This DVD cannot be played / Check DVD.
I did it - selected DVD only rather than DVD + CD, and the disc now runs on both my DVD player and computers. THANK YOU! Just for my edification...why would there be a DVD + CD option when burning it as just DVD works fine? I thought I was doing the right thing by selecting both...this is a bit misleading.
"DVD+PC" includes a native Windows application which provides more features when playing back the disk on a PC. The downside is that some DVD players do not like this slightly non-standard format.
Even if you select just "DVD" format it should play on virtually all machines using the included DVD playing software (such as Windows Media Player).
