I am using xequte for the first time. I was able to do one presentation and it worked fine. Now when I try to put the same charts into pixplay, it does not recognize the file as being acceptable. What am I doing wrong

V4 allows users to directly import a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation and burn it to DVD.

How can I output a PowerPoint presentation to DVD so I can play it on a DVD player?

The steps are as follows:

Run DVD PixPlay
Select File>Open Project, browse to your PPT file and click OK
Edit the project further if desired (e.g. add background music using Edit>Slideshow Properties, Background Music)
Click "Burn Disk"

Note 1: This procedure requires the Professional Edition of DVD PixPlay

Note 2: DVD PixPlay will not import transitions, background
music, animations or other native PowerPoint features

V3 users can use the following procedure:

1. Run PowerPoint and open your presentation
2. Select File>Save As, then from the "Save as Type" box choose JPEG and click OK
3. Click Yes when asked to confirm that you want to export every slide
4. Run DVD PixPlay and create a new project
5. Click "Add Images" and browse to the folder where you saved the images from PowerPoint
6. Click "Add All"
7. Edit the project further if desired (e.g. add background music)
8. Click "Burn Disk"

When I go to add images, it cannot 'see' the file where I have it filed on my computer. When I try to drag and drop the file, it says the file you are adding is no a supportted format so it will be skipped. This is the same file I was able to do once, but when I made revisions to begin a new project I ran into troubles.

What was the file extension before you revised the file and what was the extension after the revision. Does the slide contain any music, gifs, drawings etc? You could save the slide as a JPEG and then it should be seen and played in DVD PIXPLAY.
