I am sending messages in Portuguese Language, which means I have to use lots of different caracters such as " ~ " , " ^ " and " ç ". But everytime I send a massage with those simbols, the word is changed in a meanless way that it almost can not be read. Any advice?

Hi

What character encoding have you specified?

On the Message Sending Toolbar, click the Edit button then determine which Encoding option is checked.

Note: If MLK is set to send via your email software the option is not available (as the email software will handle the encoding).
