Sometimes we get blocked as spam by people that actually subscribe to our news letter. In most cases we think it is because there are 1000 names in the bcc box and that triggers the spam filter to kick it out... just a guess. My question is: does MailKing help get around this in any way? Does it send out individual emails to each 1000? Do you need to create a group? If so how is this done using this program. If we buy the $200 business version will we get help with these questions?? Thanks again

Hi

1000 recipients for a message is way too many. When you send with MLK it will automatically break these up into smaller chunks (e.g. 10 messages with 100 recipients, or 1000 individual recipients).

For your size mailing list i recommend having MLK send to each recipient individually. This will reduce the likelihood of the message being flagged as spam and you can automatically personalize the message with the recipients' names, for example.

Excellent! How do you configure MLK to do this? I have the trial and I'm trying to get familiar with it. So far I am unable to get a list formed. I don't have contacts set up in my out look either. Is there a way to have it some how work form the .NK2 file. I am able to pull that into an excel sheet but it doesn't recognize it.

Hi

You can specify the number of recipients under View > Options, Sending.

If you can open your NK2 file in Excel, then:

1. In Excel save it as a .XLS file
2. In MailList King select File > Import
3. Browse for your XLS file
4. Click the Map Fields button
5. Specify where each field in your import file should go in MLK
6. Click OK twice
