Is anyone able to cast some light on this error? And more importantly, how do I get rid of it?

Error encountered while sending with SMTP:
5.7.1 550 Spam X-Mailer

Thanks
Bruce

Hi Bruce

You might want to clear it, or specify one of the more common X-Mailers strings such as Outlook's.

Hi Bruce

What is specified as your X-mailer under File > Options, Sending, Other Sending Settings, Other Sending Options, "Identify Sending Software As"

Hi Nigel

Many thanks for your reply. My 'Sending method" is set to 'Send via a mail server (using SMTP)' I have a Test Group with about 8 different addresses in it so i can test if my message will work prior to sending to the full list. I did make my message personalized and don't know if this has any effect. If it will help to make the message a single generic message then I'm happy to do that just to ensure that it works.

I would appreciate any help at this stage as I really need to get this working ASAP.

Regards

Bruce

Hi Bruce

It looks like the default X-mailer setting has broken a spam blockers rules. What sending method are you using in MLK?
