Just resent to support@xequte.COM (sent to .BIZ the first time, as that is the extension on your Forum Notifications).

Hi Tim

Haven't seen it yet. Did it bounce back?

Nigel,

Uh-Oh---- Even worse problem after the upgrade!!!

Now when I do an import ON THE VERY SAME EXCEL SPREADSHEET, I get the error message: "The specified worksheet of your Excel file does not contain any data.".

But it DOES, and the name under "Worksheet" is correct (there is only one).

Nigel,

I went ahead and upgraded to the current MLK version. Will try the same import to see if it fails in the same way.

Hi Timmer

It sounds like a bug in that release. I can't reproduce it in v9.25.

We are using version 7.32R. It's been working great until this latest Import that had the extra space after the email addresses. (That isn't MLK's fault -- the folks that supply us with our emails are responsible for adding that extra space).

The really bad part is that it STILL IMPORTED those people, even though MLK rejected their email addresses as invalid.

Even worse, there were about forty blank rows below all the valid rows, that had no information in them at all (except the formula above in column AA), and it IMPORTED THEM!!!

Hi Timmer

Can you please confirm what version you are using. We should certainly be "trimming" the content that is retrieved from import fields.

FIXED (Work-around)..

We had this same problem. It started to happen right after an IMPORT to our database.

We had imported from an Excel spreadsheet. Problem was, every email address had a SPACE character after it! So MLK failed at the address import BUT STILL CREATED USERS!!! This resulted in a bunch of records with BLANK EMAIL ADDRESSES!!!

Here's what we did to fix it: In an unused column in the Excel datasheet, (In our case, column AA1) we created the function "=TRIM(N1)" where "N1" was the first email column/row that held the email addresses with the extra spaces.

Now this new column had no spaces, so we mapped that column to EMAIL during the import, and ALL WAS FINE!

TIP TO NIGEL: You might want to perform a Delphi "Trim()" function on imported Excel data fields.

Regards,

I have sent for new link and key.

The message as noted in the original post shows up as a pop up whenever I hit send. The 'to' line is populated with either the group list name or manually entered email addresses. I have tried originating the email from both the new message button and from starting from a selected and displayed group list.

Hi

Firstly, please download v9.02 (from same link you were sent for v9.0).

What recipients are displayed in the main window when you click the "Send Email" button? Do you then click the "To" button and choose your recipients? And always it shows as "No Recipients". Is that correct?
