Posted - Oct 06 2009 : 23:52:19 I have send a message like this "Dear %FirstName%. Your %Company%..." One out of around five mails had a wrong company name (it was the host name of the e-mail address).
I am using MailList King v. 8.04 with Vista Outlook.
Is it a known bug with a solution or? |

I'll need to send you some debug logging information.
Also, I see you are using an old version so complete the following form for a download of the latest release:

Make sure you generate the debug log in the new version.

Posted - Oct 07 2009 : 04:18:35 I am sorry. There is no pattern. 32 % of the e-mail addresses are wrong. In a list they are: 2 good, 2 bad, 3 good, 1 bad, 5 good and so on. There are no special letters in the names, no pattern in the number of pre-names.
So what?
(Many thanks for your fast answers! Fine service). |

Posted - Oct 07 2009 : 02:32:11 Unfortunately it is not the explanation. All persons have a company in their e-mail address in Outlook.
When these e-mail addresses are imported in MailList King the company names are disappearing at some persons (and then you is right). It looks that the import system has a problem? |

Posted - Oct 07 2009 : 02:10:20 Hi
I suspect that those addresses do not have a company name specified and %EMAIL_DOMAIN_NAME% is specified as the default value for the "Company" field.
On the Message Sending toolbar click the "Personalize" button and then choose "Personalization Options"
