Hi Nigel,

Congratulations on the new release! I happily installed v8.0 over my v7.0R but have quickly encountered an error message after using the new version without incident for a few days. A problem emerged when I started Outlook each time and the MLK toolbar did not automatically "show up" as it always used to do.

The error message reads:
"Mailing List Management Software error: the add-in has fired an exception. Access violation at address 32772E12 in module 'mso.dll'. Read of address 00000000."

The MLK toolbar does not automatically appear at startup even when I have selected it in Outlook under VIEW.

It looks like I could start MLK on its own though but it does puzzle me why MLK is not working as I expect it to inside Outlook now.

I am tempted to re-download MLK v8.0 but thought I should check with you first.

Thanks for your advice!

Dear Nigel,

I am experiencing the same problem reported by Ilma. The MLK toolbox is listed under the Outlook Toolbox's available options, and checking it will make the MLK toolbox appear in the Outlook's toolbox but, after a while it disappears. Same error message on MSO.DLL.

The MLK version installed is 8.0R and MS Office Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) SP3, OS is WinXP w/SP3.

Even so the application works perfectly. Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi

I've just emailed you an update. Please try that version and let me know if you still have a problem. We will release this officially as v8.01 (probably next week).
