Environment * Latest 64-bit Outlook running on Exchange * Outlook set as default mail client (see image)
Steps taken * Upon entering Sending Email Options I see "Outlook" as the sending profile. * I select Settings and immediately receive the first error (see the attached no_default image) * After the no_default_client error, I'm able to view the "Edit Sending Profile" form (Details and Sending Method) * Send method set to "Send with Microsoft Outlook"
* When "Send Test Email" is selected, I input the destination address, click OK when I receive: "Error encountered sending via Outlook: Unspecified error, PgrogID: "MLKing.SafeMailItem You can change your sending method under File > Options, Sending" (see error2 image)
The root cause appears to be that MLK doesn't know that Outlook is the default mail client. I've closed and re-opened both Outlook and MLK multiple times.
Thoughts,
Greg

Just noticed that my Outlook Outbox contains a blank email (created by MLK); no TO: or Text. |

OK, please go into File > Options, Other, Outlook Options and send me a screen shot of the window. In particular the extended MAPI option should not be checked.

Hi
Yes, its possible if you upgraded from an older version of MLK, then some settings that are no longer relevant are not reset.
