Version 7.32R

No computer configuration changes but over the last few weeks, sending via MailList King has become slower & slower and now cannot send at all. Assume ISP or email host has made some change that has not been announced. Outlook sends fine if the email addresses are batched and put in bcc.

Now if I try to send a formatted html msg with MailList King it appears to start (2 or 3 batches - set to send 49 at a time) but then fails. When I receive a copy of the 2-3 batches sent, the html has been stripped out and only text remains (users in those first couple of batches have complained of the same thing). Then the remainder flushes out with:
FAILURE (unimplemented (#5.5.1)) as seen in the log.

A client using a later version of MailList King (but need to visit to check which one) has the same problem and they use the same ISP & email host. Since both these sites can send OK with Outlook, it's difficult to explain to ISP & host.

Any ideas?

Hi Yvonne

To clarify, if you use MLK to send via Outlook it works OK, but if MLK sends directly via your ISP's mail server then you get the problem?

Please also email me the log file for the sending task:

1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I.
2. Check the box to display your "Sending Logs" folder and click "OK"
3. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me
