I'm trying to setup Mail List King Professional to use the Amazon SES service. I've input my Access ID and Secret Key. However when I try to verify my mailing address, I get this error:
"An Error was encountered connecting to Amazon SES: HTTP:/1.1 403 Forbidden"
I've tried changing the Access ID and when I input in something other than my Access ID, I get:
"You do not appear to have specified a valid Access Key ID. Log into your AWS account and check your access credentials"
So I think I have the right settings, but what am I missing?
Thanks!

Hi Andrew
We are presently recommending users transition to use of Amazon's SMTP service, rather than the older HTTP API. In other words get your SMTP details from your Amazon account page, and then configure that as a new SMTP account in MLK.

Hi, I am getting the same error in the latest version 12.02, Isn't it supposed to be faster to use the Amazon settings instead of the regular SMTP settings? thank you |

Hi
In v12.02, creating a new account using Amazon will use SMTP.
Under File > Options, Sending, Other Sending Settings, is the Amazon sending method set to SMTP or Web API?
