 converting video for compatibility

my video goes theough the converting process but when i play it back on side show only part of it plays back what would be the reason for that i need the whole video.

Hi Theresa

It sounds like the video conversion is failing. Did you get any error message?

You could try going into View > Options, Sending, Folders, Advanced and changing the video conversion format.


Failing that you might want to convert the video to MPEG format prior to adding it to your project.

thank you for trying to help but my movie is mpeg.i have tryed everything but no luck so far i will continue to try to tosolve the issue this video is very important to me my grandsons first solo i dont want to lose it thank you theresa

Hi Theresa

That is odd as MPEG is PixPlay's native format. When you playback the MPEG video outside of PixPlay, i assume it plays back correctly?

Please e-mail me your log file

On Windows 7 and Vista:

C:\Users\ <YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN NAME> \AppData\Local\Xequte\DVD PixPlay\Logs\

On XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\ <YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN NAME> \Local Settings\Application Data\Xequte\DVD PixPlay\Logs\


Note: If you have Email Software you can do this quickly by selecting Help > Send Email to Support on the DVD PixPlay menu
