I have tried to user siteUp to monitor in internal Web-Server which runs on the Port 8080.
The Server is up and running but SiteUp caned reach it.
Other Servers which runs on port 80 could be reached from siteup.

Is it possible to monitor the 8080?

I'm afraid there is no option to specify an alternative port at this time.
