Hello,

Trying to monitor a website on an internal DMZ (private network), I get the error message in the "View HTML Source" window: Unable to determine IP address from host name for demostatus.rp-portal.mysite.com.
This address is resolved by nslookup.

So my question is : where does SiteUp takes its proxy and DNS configuration?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Yann

I'm afraid that at present SiteUp does not expose these options, however if you configure Internet Explorer to connect to the server then it should inherit those settings.

Hi Nigel,

First, thanks for your quick answer.

I get some strange behaviour: when I browse the website using IE, I can reach it, but SiteUp continues to give me this error.
It seems that SiteUp takes the proxy settings from IE but doesn't take the exceptions in 'bypass proxy for local addresses' into account (although this diagnostic should be confirmed).
Do you know any workaround in this case?
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Yann

We'll improve access to these options in a later version.
