Nigel, one of the new features I look for as each update is released is the capability of changing the order in which emails are sent out. The problem I'm trying to prevent is when many emails to the same Domain (Yahoo e.g.) are flagged as suspect or SPAM and are diverted because they arrive in a cluster. I currently stagger my sending to 20 messages every 8 minutes to reduce this possibility but suspect many are being quarantined. I also send via authsmtp.com.

All my mailing lists are small, < 1,000.

If there were a way to 'serialize' staggered sending so only 1 email would go to each Domain in a list and then start over until all messages went out that would be great. Of course, there's always the possibility the last cluster(s) would all be to the same Domain, I understand that.

I've searched the forum for help here but didn't find anything, am I making myself clear?

Hi Jim

There is no option for that at present, and its implementation would be fairly elaborate. If your list was biased towards one domain then it would probably even make the problem worse as towards the end of the sending all of the recipients would be of that domain (having been pushed back earlier).

But in principal there is benefit in balancing out the domains so I will consider it further for a future version (or email me if you want to discuss custom development).

Nigel, thanks for the timely response...good grief...what time is it there in NZ?

Anyway, I've done a little programming over the years and realize how complex an issue this is . . . just wanted to 'plant the seed' so in your future efforts you might wend your way my way . . . <grin>.
