I've enjoyed the XCLOCK screen saver. However, I searched the forum and didn't see anything about this issue.

When the SSaver kicks in, it is great, but then when I go back to the machine, the SSaver won't kick in again.

I am running Win XP SP3.
I also have another laptop running Win XP Media Center 2005 and the screen save never kicks in. However, the default one that are installed with windows work fine.

Any ideas?

Hi

I presume it is crashing for some reason, but under XP i can't see a good reason for that.

If you click the Test button in the Control Panel, Desktop, does it work correctly?

If I go to Control Panel > Display > Screen Saver > Preview button, the screen will go black and that is it. This is on my XP Pro laptop

It does the same thing on the Media Center version too.

OK, it is crashing then. I will investigate when we do the next update.

Hi

On some systems it fails to update (repaint) correctly. We will investigate this for the next release (unfortunately as it is a free product the releases are not very frequent).
