Hi there

When I'm working on a PixPlay project, I like it to be easily accessible so I usually keep the photos and music etc on the desktop. When I've finished with the project, I move the files off the desktop to somewhere more permanent.

The problem is that if I ever want to return to the project, Pixplay can't find my photos any more.

For example, I've made a DVD of photos (past and present) of our town and I've given everyone in town a copy (Ivanhoe is a small town in outback NSW). I gave out about 300 copies, which have now run out but people are asking for more. Also, I'm still receiving photos from the town's people so yesterday I decided to update the project by adding more photos.

I had to manually browse to every one of the nearly 400 photos to show Pixplay where I had moved them to (they were all in subfolders - shops, school, people etc).

Is there a way I could have simply pointed PixPlay to the whole lot in one operation rather than individually browse to each photo?

I realise that I probably could have put the whole folder back on the desktop but sometimes I may not remember where the files were in the first place, in order to put them back.

Cheers

Hi

When you open a project that has been moved you should get a "Missing Files" warning (also available by selecting Edit > Advanced > Check for Missing Files). If you then specify the new location for one of the files, PixPlay should also automatically update any other files in the same folder.
