Hello,

I'm having problems with the new version 4.10 of PixPlay.I have been previously been using v 3.02 which did not give the problem explained below that v 4.10 now gives me.

The slideshow looks good on the computer both with the PixPlay preview or a DVD with the slideshow burned onto it.

However when it is shown on the TV with a regular DVD player at least 10 - 15% of the image is missing (i.e - border areas).

With the old version (3.02) when I put in a "border value" and checked the "Add the following borders etc" box I got basically the whole area of all frames to be shown on the TV .

However with the new version 4.10 regardless of what value I put in, only about 4 or 5 frames out of over 100 frames will respond any form border reduction.
In other words if I put in a value of H:5% ; V:4% as against
H:30% ; V:20% the vast majority of frames look the same while only 4 or 5 show any change with a greater border area.

Why is this happening?Your help is needed soonest.

Thanks,
Bill.

Hi Bill

Borders are not used if you are using image motion effects.

Also go into Frame > Frame Properties, Borders and disable the auto-cropping option.

Hi Nigel,

After I sent the post to you folks I found out that the "Auto crop" box was selected. After I disabled it I got the border values to work OK for TV viewing.

Thanks for your help.

Bill.
