Hi, I love this program !!! However, after I finished burning each DVD - R slide Show successfully, I have been saving them in a folder called My Slideshows and giving each one a name. Got a surprise tonight when I went in on C drive to this folder and clicked to open a slide show and all there are is ??????? after ???? with no pictures. How do I save the pictures in the order they were burned in a folder on my C drive to have later along with the burned DVD ?

Hi
If the files referenced by your project are moved, you can use Edit > Advanced > Check for Missing Files to point DVD PixPlay to their new location.

Hi Nigel, I don't understand. The jpegs have not been saved in a file. They were on my camera, I uploaded them to a file on C drive. Added them to slideshow, burned the show on DVD-R, saved the slide show. Then deleted the file with the jpegs thinking they are in the slideshow that I had produced and save. As I said only ???? for photos when I open the saved slide show in my file Recent Slide Shows.
So are the pictures only on the finished DVD at this point ? To save the originals in their proper order and have access to them later what do I have to do ??

Hi Dennis
By default, DVD PixPlay only links to your images in their current location, so if you delete those images then DVD PixPlay won't be able to access them.
If you go into View > Options, Folders, you can enable the option for PixPlay to copy all images to your project folder.

Hi nigel, We are getting vloser to answer of finding pics after burn. I ahve been saving the slideshows and then deleting the pics. thinking they were on Pix Play. Seems it does not store them but need to be able to find them for me to see individual jpegs again.
So now I have gone into View, Options, Folders, and put the tab to:
"Always copy images to work folder"
That should do what I want, which is to be able to go back to see pictures with out putting the slide show DVD back into PC.
Last silly question: where will this work folder be found ??

Hello Denis The file will be where you put it. Go to View options > folders choose project folder (this is the first option) and define your work folder e.g C:\documents and settings\user\Dvd PixPlay projects (or Dvd Pixplay Work) Best regards
