Don’t quite understand your answer about getting a picture from the program. The other program I used for years, Memories Disc from Hewlett Packard was what it was. You can actually google it and still download it. But, in that program you could right click on a photo in the slide show and one option was to select “Save As” to a file.
1.To help you answer me more clearly I am putting still photo pictures into Pix slide show.
2. Choosing DVD Format (For DVD Players)
3. Highest (Much Slower)
4. Onto a DVD – R.
5. I Click File, save as, and put the show into a folder on C drive.
So, I will repeat my question now: Nigel, once a slide show is completed, burned and saved in local drive, is there any way to copy pictures and paste the pictures. Or click on 1 picture in the show and be able to “Save As” for that 1 picture ? I would like to copy and paste them onto a jump drive/flash drive.
FYI, as you can tell we love your program. One suggestion for next edition would be to make the drag and drop more easy. It in now very difficult to drop a picture exactly where you want it. Most often it lands before or after.

Hi
In general DVD PixPlay creates two different kinds of slideshows.
- Video based (DVD, VCD, SVCD, etc) which are best for DVD players.
These are most compatible with DVD players, Mac's, PC's etc., but because DVD PixPlay has no control over the program that shows the content there is no way you can grab an image from the slideshow (Some DVD playing software has a screen grab function, but the quality would be terrible)
- Image based (PC Format) which give the best quality
These are purely for playback on a PC, and a DVD PixPlay viewer is used to show the slideshow. Here we could easily have an option to save or copy an image from a slideshow, but it has never been requested so we have not added it. I guess i better add it to the to-do list now.

Hi Nigel, I seem to have the same question going in 2 places. Sorry.
So, are you suggesting I save the original pic jpegs in a file if I ever want to access them after the burn onto DVD-R slideshow ?
I can do that but they will all jump out of position again ?
FYI I am doing nothing for play back on a computer; that is not my objective.

Please see my other message.
I don't think i'm quite following, so you might need to explain in more detail what you are looking to do with DVD PixPlay, and how you would like it to manage your files.
