Hi
Does your slideshow contain WMV files? What version of Windows are you on? WMV conversion relies on the drivers on your system so can fail if the drivers are not available.
You might want to try converting them to a support that is natively supported by DVD PixPlay, such as MPEG or AVI.
You can convert your files online (for free) at:
http://media-convert.com/ (50MB Limit) http://www.zamzar.com/ (100MB Limit)
Or you can download free conversion software from www.Videohelp.com

Hi Nigel/support. I have been burning multiple slide shows for a long time. Today I have the error exception 5, status 2, text"" as others have. This sounds odd I know, but I can't locate the PixPlayLog txt file anywhere on my hard drive to send you. I do have WMV files but have not had an issue in the past and the slide show with the WMV does burn as a single slide show, displaying the WMV perfectly. Any help appreciated

Hi Rob
In newer versions of Windows, the log files are located here:
C:\Users\ <YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN NAME> \AppData\Local\Xequte\DVD PixPlay\Logs\
Note: If you have Email Software you can do this quickly by selecting Help > Send Email to Support on the DVD PixPlay menu

Hi Nigel/support
As others have in this thread, I have been burning multiple slide shows for a long time. Today after completing a large project (4.3Gb) with 2 Slide Shows I have encountered the exception 5, status 2, text"" error message when PixPlay attempts burning. I'm running Windows 7 home premium on Bootcamp on a Mac. I only have 6Gb of work space available which I keep clear and (trash as well) due to the necessary program files Windows needs to work. All working files and slideshow storage is on an external HD. This has worked well in the past and the work space has been adequate. Damn shame there isn't a Mac version, but I know you can only do so much development. I've read the replies to send you the PixPlayLog.txt file, but I can't find in in the PixPlay program files. Can you please advise???

Hi Rob
Thanks for the log. Unfortunately the do not highlight any particular issue so I expect its a transient write error with the drive. Please try a different kind of disk.
Regarding running out of disk space, you should just be able to connect an external hard drive to your Mac, and then specify that as the location for all DVD PixPlay's temporary and such files (under File > Options, Folders).

Hi Nigel. I have optioned all files from PixPlay to my HDD and problem solved. It looks like it was a disk space issue. The slide show is generating and burning perfectly -albeit taking 7 hours! There's several videos involved as well as many images. Thanks again for great support.
Best wishes to you and your team and the PixPlay community.
Rob
