I'm wondering if any of the following feature requests made it into MLKv8?
Ability to send back-ups to more than one email address?
Delayed sending get sent to the list members as of send time instead of list members at messages creation time?
Minor complant about v8. When clicking on a letters on the left side doesn't always work. (They are dead clicks, nothing happens.) When it does work, the bar jumps to the bottom of the screen so you have to scroll down to see the addresses. Could you make it so selected bar is in the middle of the screen?
Thanks for the other fixes. Thanks for the improvements. |

Hi Doug
Multiple back up address support is not yet. Delayed group generation was added in v8.02.
Do you mean the letter buttons? You click [_J_] for example but are not taking to addresses starting with J? What are your addresses sorted by?

Although I upgraded, I was disappointed to find the same severe limitations on editing scheduled messages.
Nigel, what is the problem with having the same editing screen pop up when editing saved newsletters as when making them initially?
As I mentioned in the Survey surely I cannot be the only one who wants to design a newsletter, then save it or schedule it for later sending. And having sent a test, want to amend it.
Once it has been scheduled however, I can no longer for example: a) preview it b) send to a test recipient for futher testing c) personalise it
So I am at loss to understand your logic in having a different screen with such limitations pop up after scheduling. It should be exactly the same as the initial one!

Hi Peter
I completely agree. It is currently done this way due to some legacy reasons. We have it on the to-do list for addressing in a coming update.

Nigel,
Hope you implement the features soon. The RAC mods you made in 7 are working perfectly, thanks.
Do you mean the letter buttons? You click [_J_] for example but are not taking to addresses starting with J? What are your addresses sorted by? Yup, Ok, I'm a dope! Did realize you had to clik at the top to sort, then the letter. If the sory colum is empty, that's when it doesn't work. |

Hi Doug
Hmmm, we might need to rethink that. It goes to "J" in whatever your sort column is. For example if you are sorted by Companies it goes to the first company starting with J.

I think the sort is working fine. In most of my lists I only have email addresses, no names or other info. I needed to select a column with info for it to work. One tweak you might make, after clicking on a letter have the sort bar appear in the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom.
I'm only one customer, but it would be nice to have several of the ther features we requested implemented.

Thanks for the suggestion, Doug, we'll look into that.

All our customers have their own set of desired features, and one of our hardest jobs is deciding which ones to work one
