Why is it that the ratio on my presentation is 4:3 and shows perfect on my computer, but when i play it on a tv that is 4:3 it crops all 4 sides including my captions and sides of my logos? I have tried it on 3 different standalone players w/different tv's (checked all so no zoom settings were chosen) and none will show what i made. I thought the DVD format was the most versatile, my goal is to give my presentation to future clients to view at home and currently it looks horrible.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Neal
Many TV's do not display the full frame of a video. You can use the "Display Safe Areas" option (under View > Options, Other, Advanced) to show the typical TV display area.

I did do this and it's better but the display is still not showing the whole slide image.
for example i put a red and blue line on the bottom of some of the slides(about 1/2 high if the slide is approx imately 8x11 inch.. Some of them show none of the bar, some show part and none show the whole thing.

Hi Neal
The display area for TV's is not fixed. While LCD TV's are much better than the old CRT ones some still hide more of the video frame than expected.
You should also check that your images are not being "Auto-cropped"
Select Frame > Frame Properties and disable the "Automatic Cropping" option on the "Remove Borders" tab.

| I am aware that the tv viewing area not being fixed, but I am talking about 10-20% of the images/title slides/menus being not viewed, and the autocropping is disabled for all of the images. If I cannot change that, then i have not choice but to go with it, but it is unfortunate this cannot be remedied. |
