How do you enlarge a scanned picture? I want it to be the same size as the rest of my pictures in my slideshow. Please help, I'm trying to meet a deadline.

Hi Jules
When you acquire an image with your scanner there shoudl be a setting where you specify what size and/or DPI the image is saved at.
Any scanner released in the last few years should invariably save an image that is much larger than you would need for a DVD slideshow project. Can you tell me a little bit more about what problems you are seeing with the image (e.g. is blocky?)

In addition to, or regardless of, the resolution that you scanned your images in, you can use a photo editing program to change the resolution (as well as contrast, colors, sharpness, etc.) of an image file after the fact.
If I am allowed to mention my favorite, freeware photo-editing program, it is Irfanview found at irfanview.com

Actually I'm a DVD PixPlay newbie myself having just downloaded and installed it yesterday and having created two projects so far written to DVD and/or Video CD.
