I've just turned on Double Opt-In and I'm not sure I understand how it's working. I have one folder that receives the initial sign ups and another that receives the responses to the "Please confirm your subscription" e-mail. My responses to the confirmation request are very low, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a problem. (Maybe I'm just getting a lot of spam sign ups.)

I expect that when I see a confirmation e-mail that I'll also be able to find that same e-mail address in the original sign ups, but I never do. So, I'm wondering if it's working properly. Shouldn't all the confirmations also be found in the original sign-ups?

Hi

With Double Opt-In, MLK will look for the confirmations in the same Outlook folder as your Subscribe and other mailing list messages (i.e. the folder specified under View>Options, Incoming).

Use Outlook rules to automatically move your messages there and then the members will be moved to the mailing list once they are confirmed.

You can also view/process pending Double Opt-Ins under View>History and Errors, Double Opt-In tab.
