Once you have a final draft of a slideshow and are happy with it, and have it on DVD....is it safe to delete it from your computer? By that I mean, if at some later time I wanted another copy of it, is it just a matter of downloading it back onto your computer and making more copies of it?
At some point, I will have too many stored, but am a little afraid to delete them too for fear there will be a problem in making a duplicate copy.
I'd rather ask what might be a dumb question than delete something and not be able to get a quality copy back should I want one.

I usually burn a 2nd copy for my archives, then delete the files.
This technique won't help if you need to make changes, but if all you need are copies, then your 'master' copy could be used to burn a 3rd or 4th or 5th copy to give (sell) away.

Hi
Assuming you have not enabled the option to copy your images to your PixPlay project folder then the files taken up by a project are normally quite small. Generally you gain very little extra space by deleting them.

I have had to reformat my computer to resolve a dvd burner issue, so I have lost all my saved Pixplay projects. Of course I have my original, so this is probably a stupid question...but it wouldn't be my first when it comes to using a computer! 
Anyway, I thought I could insert the finished slideshow into my computer and burn a copy of it, but the only option my opening wizard gives me is to view it, with windows wizard, media, etc. If there is no option to "copy to my computer"...then how may I make a duplicate of it? Or is it even possible?
Sorry for all these questions, but a person does learn by asking!

Assuming your slideshow was burned in native DVD format (it will only have video_ts and audio_ts folders on it if so) then you will need to do a direct DVD copy. Burners like Nero have a function to do that.
If it was burned in DVD or DVD+Images format, then you can also copy the content back to your computer, open it with PixPlay and reburn it.

I understand what you are saying about making a copy with your CD burner, but what I can't seem to do is open the saved and copied slideshow.
I tried saving it in two places, one in "my Pictures" and the other destination was just the same way I save music for the slideshows, c/program files/dvdpixplay. I can open the copy in "My Pictures" and it plays just fine.
I open Pixplay and browse for that copied slideshow, and it says there is no files to open. And although it appears in "my Pictures", when I go to browse that..it does not appear.
I would just give up trying to do this, but there were many scanned pictures on it that would take a lot of time to duplicate again. Many of them were photoshopped.. It just isn't a matter of downloading pics from a camera again to assemble a slideshow. I would really like to send those still images in the slideshow I copied to a new folder, and then start making a new slideshow including them and some added ones.
The original slideshow I want to save and add more images to is on a dvd-rw. So if I can't open them to view...is there any other way to open and save those pics on it?

Please put the disk you want to retrieve into the PC, examine it with Windows Explorer and tell me what folders it contains.

OK, that slideshow is in native DVD movie format. That means there is no practical way that you can extract the images it contains and bring the project back into DVD PixPlay.
Your only option is to make an exact copy of the content of the disk to another disk (using the DVD Movie copying function available in most disk burning software, such as Nero).
