i just downloaded the free trial and am trying to figure some things out b4 i buy this program. i need to figure out why it wont allow me to add a slide show presentation i made using powerpoint? i get to the step where the dvd pixplay want me to select images and videos, and when i go to the file that holds my powerpoint slide show presentations, it says the file is empty. but i went to search and searched for the desired file and it was right where i thought it was. but for some reason the dvd pixplay program is not seeing it. any ideas?

Hi
The answer to your question is in the FAQ
You have to save your power point in JPEG format
Then you'll have pictures instead of your slides in Power point
so you'll be able to get them in PXP

Michael is right you have to save your Power Point in JPEG format.


The steps are as follows:
i. Run Power Point and open your your presentation
ii. Select File>Save As, then from the "Save as Type" box choose JPEG and click OK
iii. Click Yes when asked to confirm that you want to export every slide

iv. Run DVD PixPlay and create a new project
v. Click "Add Images" and browse to the folder where you saved the images from Power Point
vi. Click "Add All"
vii. Edit the project further if desired (e.g. add background music)
viii. Click "Burn Disk"
